Medical insurance

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, foreign citizens, who arrive to study in the first year, are obliged to purchase Optional Health Insurance in any insurance company, which is valid for 3 months. This insurance is mandatory as well for obtaining the temporary residence permit in the territory of the Republic of Moldova. The medical insurance should include the costs of treatment for infectious diseases.

After obtaining the provisional residence permit, foreign students are obliged, as well as the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, to purchase annually the Compulsory Insurance Medical Policy. Students benefit to be registered by family doctor in the University Clinic of Primary Health Care.
