VISAS

1. Foreign citizens from the European Union, CIS countries, the USA, and other countries do not need a visa to enter the Republic of Moldova for studies. At the state border crossing point, their national passport will be stamped with the appropriate entries by the border security authorities. This allows the foreign citizen to stay legally in the Republic of Moldova for up to 90 days.

2. Citizens of certain countries require a D/AS visa to enter the Republic of Moldova for studies in pre-university, university, or post-university education. Information on the required documents for visa applications is available on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova website: https://mfa.gov.md/en/content/types-visas-requirements. The visa applicant must apply in person at a diplomatic mission of the Republic of Moldova abroad or through a legal representative. The foreign citizen has the legal right to stay in the Republic of Moldova for 90 days from the visa issuance date.

3. Foreign citizens arriving for studies must report to the Department of Recruitment and Documentation of Foreign Citizens at Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy within 3 days of entering Moldova to initiate the documentation process for obtaining temporary residence for studies.
